Mind Map for when leaving college
Vision of the future in 2-5 years
In 2-5 years I expect to see myself doing one of these subjects above. I mainly want to do an apprenticeship in media as it was I find most interesting. I also feel like it will be less stressful for me as coursework is not my strong subject. After my time doing an apprenticeship I then want to go into employment as I will have gained more information on the subject I want to do. I feel like a gap year is not necessary for me as I feel it will ruin the momentum for me.
Sky Visit
Previously our media class went to visit sky headquarters Osterley. This was a good experience for our class as it gives us ideas to what we want to do after college. I personally enjoyed this trip as it is something I would like to do in the future. I would preferably would want to do an apprenticeship as I would enjoy my experience more. Seeing how all the technology works also made me want to go more as of how interesting it was.

Why your personal structure matters:
Do Use...
- Structure- Even if you make good points, a poorly organised personal statement makes it harder to read
- Drafts
- Showing awareness of your subjects- Make sure you show your passion towards te subjects you chose
- Make it relevant and current
- Give examples to back up your points
- Use all the space- Writing a few lines is not enough
- Check your deadlines- Find out from your school or college when you have to apply by. Plan ahead so you can take your time with your writing
Do Not...
- DO NOT lie- You will be caught out
- DO NOT use slang or poor english
- DO NOT use bullet points- It is better to write in full sentences
- DO NOT get someone else to write it
- DO NOT include too much
- DO NOT repeat information- It is better to mention a few skills with examples to show how you developed them
- DO NOT mention specific universities- The same personal statement goes to all your choices
Signing Up For UCAS
This is me signing up for UCAS for my personal experience and also for university. I had to complete my application by answering multiple questions which I still haven't completed. I only haven't completed it as I am 100 percent sure I don't want to go to university
Research for Apprenticeship
Global Academy
Global Academy is one place that is good for apprenticeships. I would like to study a Higher and Degree apprenticeships which is studying towards level 4 and above qualifications.
Below I am going to put a list of information for school-leavers which are year 11 and older. They are going to be about apprenticeships, jobs, reviews and career advice. These sites will be helpful for me as I will be able to venture out and find an interest in something I will definitely want to do in the future.
The Apprenticeship Guide
This is another website that I have researched which is good for apprenticeships. They have a variety of subjects to choose from which is good for someone that might not know what they want to do after college. Me personally would like to apply for Assistant visual effects and technical director. This is someone that provides technical assistance, troubleshoot workflow issues and manages data and resources visual effects to describe imagery.
Middlesex University Trip
On the 7th of December our class went to visit the middlesex university campus in harrow. Before going on this trip I was sure that I did not want to go to university, but after the trip I slightly changed my mind.
When we arrived we got introduced to the people at the university doing talks about the university and the subjects you can do

This is the result of my theory test. I managed to pass first time also going into the exam not as confident as I wanted to be. One month before my test date was when I first started revising. I barely knew anything about road signs, alertness and other types of vehicles. Just after two weeks I managed to gain major knowledge on theory.

Appreticeships Applications
Other Apprenticeships I have applied for are:
ITV Coordinator
BBC Level 4 Coordinator
Channel 4 Coordinator
As I think I applied too late I think they did not have enough time to get back to me and I also got rejected by some. After I leave college if I can't find an apprenticeship I might just wait until September and start a job in the media industry in something to do with Tv and Film. Also to start from the bottom and work my way to the top, which could take some time.
CV
These are screenshots of my CV which is located on indeed. I have not been able to download my link as it is on a different website and it is harder for me to do on PC.
